The easySkyExplorer has been developed for amateur
astronomers and enthusiasts of astronomy.

easySkyExplorer provides you with the most important
information and best observation time about a desired sky
object in the northern and southern hemisphere at a glance
and with a click of the mouse. A graphical layout of each of
the 88 constellations in the northern and southern
hemisphere gives you a quick overview of all the associated
sky objects. The most attractive ones are illustrated with
small pictures.

easySkyExplorer provides also a basic astronomical
knowledge base, that explains the specifications of a sky
object, like spectral classes of stars, Hertzsprung-Russel
diagram, classification of galaxies, distance ladder,
magnitudes, etc. Conversion calculations of astronomical
units and formulas are also supported.

easySkyExplorer is based on MS-Excel. Therefore, It allows
you to find, to organize, to sort the data of constellations and
appropriate sky objects, supported by specific macro-
commands and Visual Basic scripts. One goal was also an
ease of use approach. Anyone with basic knowledge of MS
Excel will quickly become familiar with this tool.

easySkyExplorer includes actually more than: 2’600 sky
objects. Each sky object has a local- or cloud-link to the
corresponding images, abstracts and videos.
